What is 5g ?

5G is the fifth generation of  cellular mobile communication. It succeeds the 4G (LTE/WiMax), 3G (UMTS) and 2G (GSM) systems.

5G > 4G, 3G, 2G

5G performance targets include high data rate, reduced latency, energy saving, cost reduction, higher system capacity and massive device connectivity.

5G ADVANTAGES

1.Education − A student sitting in any part of world can attend the class.

2.Medical Treatment − A doctor can treat the patient located in remote part of the world.

3.Monitoring will be easier − A governmental organization and investigating offers can monitor any part of the world. Possible to reduce the crime rate.

4.Technology to gather all networks on one platform.

5.Technology to facilitate subscriber supervision tools for the quick action.

6.Easily manageable with the previous generations.

7.Technological sound to support heterogeneous services (including private network).

8.Possible to provide uniform, uninterrupted, and consistent connectivity across the world.

 5G DISADVANTAGES

1.Expensive deal —-Many of the old devices would not be competent to 5G, hence, all of them need to be replaced with new one — expensive deal.

2.Developing infrastructure needs high cost.

3.Security and privacy issue yet to be solved.
